Our mission is clear - boost the physical, social and emotional wellness of kids through the power of play. Through our PlayRox program, we are helping communities achieve their goal of getting kids to unplug and play in fun, safe and inclusive environments. Inspired & supported by the successful Terriers Sports programs serving Wellesley since 1991, Community Investors strives to blueprint and share our PlayRox programs to serve schools, organizations and communities everywhere. 

PlayRox is a unique blend of music-fueled fun for kids of all backgrounds, ages, genders and abilities that has been developed and refined over 30 years. Critical to our mission of play-based socio-emotional development, we foster and train middle school, high school and college students to coach and mentor the younger participants, as well as run the music and media programs for each event. As a result, all of our participants develop resiliency, empathy and a sense of belonging and ownership - all through the power of play. 

• PlayRox Music Mission: Our mission to share and expand the limitless positive energy and transformational potential in Music and Active Play.  
• PlayRox GrowLocal: Empowering Teachers, Coaches and Athletes to Grow Community Based Programs.  Creating high-energy, play-based recreational programs for all youth using our proven blueprints, training and quality control for a full spectrum of active play programs. 
• PlayRox Student Coaching: Empowering students of all backgrounds to play together. Providing opportuniies for students to become the teachers and give them a sense of accountability with our unique coach development program. 
• PlayRox Student Music & Media: Our programs provide students with opportunities to add energy and fun to youth sports by serving as DJ’s and announcers. This is also an excellent opportunity for teens who enjoy sports, but may not be as naturally inclined or interested to play. From creating playlists and DJ-ing to being an announcer, videographer or an appointed student social media ambassador, our Music & Media program allows them to help create and run “The Show”, providing valuable skills and experiences that have resulted in professional careers. 
• PlayRox Suburban-Urban Bridge: Connecting Kids and Communities through the Power of Play. Successful pilots at an East Boston Middle School, a Roxbury Youth Sports Organization and two Framingham Public Housing Communities are platforms for reach & impact.
