Our Mission is to EmPower Happy & Healthy Kids Rocking The Power of Play! 

Community Investors supports the physical, social and emotional wellness of our next generation through fun, inclusive, community-based active play. 

Pre-pandemic, kids were experiencing a growing addiction to smartphones, social media and video games, resulting in interpersonal social retraction, inactivity and obesity at increasingly earlier ages. Simultaneously, a decline in recreational programs - a critical source of physical, social and emotional development - has created a perfect storm further intensified by COVID, resulting in spikes in youth anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and attempts. These challenges can all be overcome with organic remedies, but require focus, innovation, and most importantly, support.

We are designated by the US Department of Health & Human Services, and The President's Council on Health & Fitness as a National Youth Sports Strategy Champion. We have been recognized by Stanford University's Challenge Success founder Denise Pope, PhD, as a Best Practitioner of Play. 

PlayRox is a unique blend of student led, musically energized inclusive active play developed and refined over three decades. Play-based social and emotional development is vital to our mission. Our Student Coaching, Music & Media Programs empower middle school, high school and college students to mentor younger participants resulting in increased resiliency, empathy and joy. We partner with schools and organizations to grow programs within the fabric of communities. Our Suburban Urban Bridge Program connects kids and communities, expanding our reach and impact.  Every town, city and state needs more quality, enjoyable and impactful active play and we are on a MISSION to reach and serve them all!
