April 2020 - Community Investors was honored to be the recipient of a major grant from MathWorks and the Foundation for MetroWest. in recognition of its commitment to Youth Development in Wellesley, MA. This grant will be used to further its support of Positive Impactful Experiences for middle and high-school aged youth through the power of play.
Community Investors hosted Girl Power Hour, inviting middle school girls to spend an hour having fun with friends, playing basketball, spikeball, Double Dutch, cheering and more, while also taking a break from electronics. Read more.
Community Investors was recognized by Challenge Success co-founder Denise Pope, PhD, as a best practitioner of play during her recent visit to a Massachusetts high school. Read more.

In 2014, Wellesley resident, Joe Roberts, channeled his experience running summer and vacation sports camps into Community Investors, a new non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Wellesley's adolescents with after-school, noncompetitive sports programs.
