 Community Investors was honored to receive federal recognition by the US Department of Health & Human Services in 2020 as a National Youth Sports Strategy Champion for our work promoting and supporting youth recreation. Learn more about what it means to be a NYSS Champion.  

 February 2021 -  We are excited to share a recent feature from WCVB Channel 5 News reporting on the US Health & Human Services Department's naming Community Investors as National Youth Sports Strategy Champions, and highlighting our PowerPlayRox partner, Terriers Sports. Watch the full clip.

 April 2020 - Community Investors was honored to be the recipient of a major grant from MathWorks and the Foundation for MetroWest. in recognition of its commitment to Youth Development in Wellesley, MA. This grant will be used to further its support of Positive Impactful Experiences for middle and high-school aged youth through the power of play. 

 Community Investors hosted Girl Power Hour, inviting middle school girls to spend an hour having fun with friends, playing basketball, spikeball, Double Dutch, cheering and more, while also taking a break from electronics. Read more.

Community Investors was recognized by Challenge Success co-founder Denise Pope, PhD, as a best practitioner of play during her recent visit to a Massachusetts high school. Read more.
